  • NEWSLETTER OF SEPTEMBER 2022

We are back after a few weeks of summer break! These last few months have been full of meetings and trade shows. We are now ready to start this season with increased visibility. Motion at bike shows The beginning of summer was busy for Motion, with the Prodays 2022 which took place in Paris expo, Porte de Versailles, and then with the Eurobike 2022 in Frankfurt, a world fair dedicated to the future of mobility. These were intense days of exhibition that allowed us to present our products, to showcase our innovation capabilities and to exhibit our showcase product, the City suspension. As a center of innovation for mobility and sports, our company and our booth have attracted the interest of many manufacturers of mobility solutions. Innovative products are made by Motion! If you want to stand out from the crowd, our team are the one to contact ! Our products ride! They ride, and they ride (very) well ! The proof? Ultima Mobility's Trekking version of the Mutlipath, equipped with our suspension technology, came in second at the Nature is Bike 50 K Gravel Race. At Motion, we are proud but not surprised: this kind of recognition is the result of innovation coupled with excellence, which makes bikes equipped with our technologies exceptional products designed for the best performances! A little more patience for the Flow EVO! The current economic situation is slowing down the deployment of some of our innovations. This is the case for the Flow EVO, our most reactive and sensitive shock absorber on the market. The whole team is mobilized to ensure that this new product is marketed as soon as possible. We will be sure to let you know when it will be released. Until then, the entire Motion team wishes you a great start to the 2022 season!

New collaborations for Motion Engineering Cargo bike, a key segment for the future It's new, and we're proud of it: we're currently working on cargo bike. Have you ever heard of a cargo bike? This three-wheeled bike (electric or not) equipped with a box on the front allows you to move around while carrying your groceries, your equipment, your children and even your pets! This mode of transport is booming (+30% annual growth!).It is indeed increasingly used for deliveries or local services. We want to support its development. In urban or extra-urban environments, it meets the challenges of today and tomorrow: less expensive than a car, it is more economical in terms of insurance, maintenance and fuel. It also allows to pollute less and to maintain one's health, without compromising on daily utility. It is logical that among our current engineering projects, there is the contract signed with the Eco-triporteur brand. We share with the Eco-triporteur brand our passion for French development and innovation. Our objective on this project ? To ensure trips with unequalled safety and comfort. We thank Eco-triporteur for their trust and we look forward to seeing you soon for new engineering solutions adapted to cargo bikes! The Motion "pulled blade" technology equips the city bike of the Ultima Mobility brand. Ultima Mobility is a young French company that has accomplished the feat of industrializing its bicycles in record time, and that relies on innovations : a single size frame to fit the family (from 1,55m to 1,90m) a 48V electric motor with integrated automatic gearbox an anti-theft system with 4 levels of protection a possible transformation of the bike after purchase thanks to different integrated front gears (city, trek, cargo bike, family cargo). Our technology "La City", with its suspension especially dedicated to the urban environment, takes off: it will now equip the bikes of the Ultima Mobility brand, with the trekking version of the Multipath! The Multipath is an e-bike 90% made in France, with only 1% of manufacturing outside Europe. It offers a frame made of 50% recycled materials, and 100% recyclable. Moreover, the Mutlipath is modular according to your wishes ! It is the alliance of an exceptional technology and an exceptional product. Come and discover this jewel on the Ultima Mobility website, which we thank for this unique collaboration! Are you a bicycle manufacturer and/or assembler ? Contact us if you are interested in adding our La City suspension to your line of city bikes. Flow Evo shock absorber: last reservations possible! Remember: the Flow Evo is the high-tech MTB shock absorber: it is the only atmospheric pressure shock absorber on the market, with double progressive hydraulic stops. The result ? A very responsive and sensitive shock absorber, using 100% of the travel for incomparable comfort and grip thanks to the high frequency filtration. At the beginning of spring, we launched its marketing with no obligation reservations: for the latecomers, the reservation is still available here, to guarantee you unforgettable mountain bike experiences from this summer 2022!

Motion Engineering : member of the Active and Sustainable Mobility cluster The Active and Sustainable Mobility cluster is a group whose ambition is to federate the bicycle industry in the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region. It is therefore quite natural that Motion joined this initiative this month, to continue to look towards the future. Innovative technologies, awareness-raising initiatives, collaborative project engineering, and industry expertise: the goal for Motion is to gain visibility, innovation, and collaboration to better support the mobility of tomorrow. While Motion is committed to developing its partnerships and cooperation with project leaders with similar ambitions, it also knows how to distinguish itself through its added value: we are the only design office in the cluster to have our own patented technologies, which enables us to support our clients in developing specific products with very high added value. The cluster has just celebrated its 100 members: we are proud and happy to reach this milestone alongside them. La city : the new suspension for the urban environment La City is a solution designed by Motion for the urban environment. Because it is in this market segment that bicycles see their potential unfold, Motion has created a suspension system specially designed for the city. La City is a system patented by Motion, its ultra simple kinematics is composed of three elements: a rocker, a caliper support and a link. This assembly, easy and inexpensive to produce, allows us to make this technology accessible to all city bike manufacturers. The result ? Unparalleled comfort, thanks to its pulled blade technology : an ideal progressive spring adapted to all morphologies, without adjustment. Maintenance-free, it is designed to make life easier and city mobility more efficient, lighter and more enjoyable. La City will be available in the 2nd quarter of 2022. Do you want real added value for your city bikes? Do you want to be the first to benefit from this innovation? Contact us now to optimize your urban cycling solutions. MTB fork E18 + : last opportunities Remember, last month, we offered you our latest E18+ mountain bike forks at a very competitive price. Little jewels of innovation, our E18+ forks have been victims of their success: we only have a few left at the price of 960 euros, in 140 and 160 mm of travel, so don't miss these last opportunities! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the customers who trusted us and placed orders in October. We remind you that the after-sales service is still provided in our workshop, so that your purchases rhyme with excellence and support. See you in December for the last newsletter of 2021!
